CALM QUEST

Calm Quest (working title) is currently in pre-production at Away We Go Productions as an adventure game designed to help neurodivergent children, including those with autism, build emotional regulation skills through short, movement-based play sessions at home. Blending active play with storytelling, Calm Quest encourages children to move, reflect, and grow in fun and meaningful ways. In partnership with developmental behavioral pediatrician Dale Sussman Gertz, MD, FAAP, and a research team in Georgia, we are exploring how game-supported exercise can boost self-regulation and emotional well-being in children.

El Mar Encabritado follows a Cochimí fisherman from Loreto, Mexico who heads out to sea with his young son and hooks a mysterious, magical fish that upends their daily struggle and forces them to confront questions of tradition, sacrifice, and what it truly means to provide for family. The film was shot on Super 16mm, a format chosen for its organic grain and its ability to be cleanly blown up to 35mm for theatrical exhibition, and was filmed entirely on location in and around Loreto, Baja California Sur, with a small, dedicated crew that leaned into natural light, practical locations, and a nimble production footprint.
