who is RoberT Uhlaner

Robert Uhlaner is a Senior Partner Emeritus at McKinsey & Company, where he previously co‑led the firm’s global Strategy & Corporate Finance practice and led its Transactions (M&A) service line. Over more than two decades at McKinsey, he has advised leading organizations in technology, healthcare, and industrial sectors on strategy, programmatic M&A, and performance transformation.

Before returning to McKinsey as a senior partner, Robert served as Corporate Vice President for Strategy, Planning, and Analysis at Microsoft, where he oversaw corporate FP&A, corporate strategy, and merger integration. Earlier in his career, he co‑founded Quantum Consulting, a firm focused on data‑driven decision making in the energy sector.

Robert is the Treasurer and a board member of Ohana One International Surgical Aid, a nonprofit that expands access to safe surgical care through technology‑enabled training programs around the world. He also serves as a Senior Partner with CEO Software Solutions, helping develop data‑informed tools that improve the speed and quality of CEO decision‑making.
