who is Dr. Dale Gertz?

 Dr. Dale Sussman Gertz, MD brings more than 20 years of experience in developmental-behavioral pediatrics to her work with children and families. In 2022, she joined the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) team, where she continues her passion for helping children with learning, attention, and social challenges thrive. A graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Gertz completed her pediatric residency at the University of Minnesota and fellowship training at UNC’s Center for Development and Learning. She partners closely with families to encourage positive parenting, healthy routines, including sleep, and balanced screen use. Through early assessment, individualized care, and collaboration with schools and therapists, Dr. Gertz helps children reach their fullest potential. Known for her warm, patient-centered approach, she values listening, clear communication, and guiding families every step of the way.

Dr. Dale Gertz joined Away We Go Productions in 2024 to serve as a Medical Advisor for Calm Quest. Along with a renowned MUSC research team and partnering with AWG Productions, she is exploring how game-supported exercise can boost emotional well-being and resilience in children, paving the way for future studies and innovative approaches to child development.
